Anand Neelakantan Ready To Venture Into Children’s Literature With Upcoming Book

After releasing the much-awaited book 2 in the Bahubali series, ‘Çhaturanga’, mytho-fiction writer Anand Neelakantan is all set to release another book this year. Buzz is that Neelakantan’s next work is a children’s book, also his first in this genre!

The author has been sharing some information about his first children’s book on social media these days. “Coming soon with a Children’s book. Stay tuned,” he had tweeted on September 2, 2020. A few days later, on September 5, he had posted a picture speculated to be from the upcoming book with the caption, “Coming soon, coming soon. Naughty Asuras are coming soon. Stay tuned for funny Asura tales for kids.”

In his tweet on September 8, 2020, Neelakantan announced that his new children’s book is titled ‘The Very Extremely Most Naughty Asura Tales for Kids’ which will be published by Penguin India and it will be released this September. Talking about the book, he also shared, “It is a tale of magic, goblins, ghosts, Bhuta, preta, etc. Folkish.” The book’s cover will be revealed on September 9.

In an interview with Sonali Bendre Behl during the launch of ‘Çhaturanga’ at her book club, talking about his upcoming projects, he had said, “I’ve also written a talk series for an audiobook; two children’s books; and a book on ”Women of Ramayana’ which will be published by Westland Publishers… Meanwhile, book three of the Bahubali trilogy is also ready.”
