The Inheritance of Loss by Kiran Desai was first published in 2006. The book is a work of Domestic Fiction. It has won a number of awards, including the Man Booker Prize for that year, the National Book Critics Circle Fiction Award in 2007, and the 2006 Vodafone Crossword Book Award.
