The Trailer For Mira Nair’s Adaptation Of Vikram Seth’s ‘A Suitable Boy’ Is Out Now

The trailer for BBC’s TV adaptation of Vikram Seth’s novel A Suitable Boy has been released. The series is being directed by Mira Nair.  Nair has collaborated with writer Andrew Davies, as well as author Vikram Seth for the drama series, which is set to premiere on BBC One on 26 July.

The trailer has revealed the stars of the series. These include Ishaan Khatter, Tabu, Tanya Maniktala, Rasika Dugal, and Ram Kapoor among others. Set in post-Independence India, A Suitable Boy is a coming-of-age story of a university student, and traces the story of four families in the country, while focusing on national political issues in the period before the first post-Independence national election of 1952.
