What Is Bullying And Why It Needs To Stop

Bullying is very negative and creates major problems for our society. If you have ever been bullied then you know what it feels like. Bullying refers to aggressive behavior so as to dominate the other person. It refers to the coercion of power over others so that one individual can dominate others. It is an act that is not one time, instead, it keeps on repeating over frequent intervals. Nothing good ever comes out of bullying.

It could very well change or ruin a person’s life. In fact, it does ruin many people’s lives. Kids can be mentally scarred if they are teased often. Even worse, they could be killed or fatally injured if the bullying gets extreme. Bullying is not always childish play, it can be extremely violent. People may be bruised, injured, or even killed. There are various types of bullying ranging from verbal to physical to psychological. With the increase in the usage of the internet, a new kind of bullying has also become pretty common, it is known as cyberbullying. Bullying can happen at any stage of life, be it in school, College, Workplace, or even in a Public Place.

Bullying has a very deep psychological impact on the person being bullied. These people often tend to lose their self-esteem and confidence. They start performing badly in school and retreat into a shell of their own. This hampers their overall growth. Some victims even start having suicidal thoughts and begin suffering from psychological disorders. It is necessary for this practice to end.
